Two years ago, I had this crazy idea:
What if I asked my festival people at Boom and Ozora to give me missions from their own lives? Real stories. Real passions. Missions that could activate someone else to live differently — even just for a moment.
The only problem? I had nothing to show.
No deck. No prototype. Just a wild idea in my mind.
Since then, I’ve mined my own stories. Turned my most profound memories into actionable missions. And built the thing I wished existed, and perhaps could change a life.
This summer, I’m going back.
Solstice. Boom. Landjuweel. Own Spirit.
But this time, The Mission Game is with me. Printed. In my backpack. Ready to pass on — one deck at a time.
I’m personally delivering the first 100 decks — tracked, signed, and handed over with intention.

What you see here are just 3 of the 53 real-life missions packed into The Mission Game — a 59-card deck designed to disrupt the mundane and reignite your sense of adventure.
Each mission card starts with a Mission Title and a short Mission Briefing to set the scene — followed by three levels of challenge.
From playful social dares to deep self-discovery, the deck offers a wide range of experiences for curious explorers and seasoned adventurers alike.
The remaining cards include instructions, background insights, and check-ins to guide your journey.

MISSION MARIJN
Marijn knows what it feels like to be stuck in life, feeling behind and out of place. After years of searching for belonging, he transformed his reality by making radical changes and breaking free from his mental prison. With over 15 years of leadership experience at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and a deep passion for festivals like Boom and Fusion, Marijn brings a rare blend of structure, creativity, and a true spirit of adventure.
TORNADO MARTA
Marta is a self-made woman who embodies the extroverted spirit of a true life adventurer. Born in Argentina, she moved to the Netherlands and built a thriving career while treating life as her own grand festival. With boundless energy and a no-bullshit mentality, Marta is a force of nature—a tornado of raw, unfiltered vitality that inspires everyone she meets. Just don’t get in her way.
It was amazing to have had Marijn at home as he truly represents what this community is about. I am happy I was a part of his mission and I’m sure it will be a big and lasting mission that will transform him and the people around him.
